My Heart
A poem about my wife.
I wrote this poem off of a prompt by Sincerely Seb, and I really like it. I love my wife dearly. She’s my favorite person and the best part of my life. This poem doesn’t do her justice.
Of my lonely days I often think Long before I knew her Her touch, her gaze, her smile To look into her eyes And get lost in forever To hear her laugh And forget that pain was ever a thing She has healed me, nurtured me Made me who I am today She is the star of my eternity The rain on a cool day

That’s beautiful man. It captures all the little things that make up what she means to you.
